- 5 medium apples (peeled, cored, chopped)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 8 flour tortillas
Instructions
- In a medium pot over medium heat, combine chopped apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water. Stir to coat and cook until apples soften (about 5–7 minutes).
- Sprinkle in cornstarch while stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and bubbles gently.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut tortillas into triangles and place on a baking sheet. Spray with non-stick cooking spray and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix.
- Bake until golden brown for about 10 minutes.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
