Ingredients
- 4 large portobello mushrooms
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/3 tsp cumin
- 1/3 tsp smoked paprika
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- In a baking dish, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, cumin, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne (if using).
- Add cleaned portobello mushrooms to the marinade and coat evenly. Let them marinate for at least 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Grill the marinated mushrooms for about 4-5 minutes per side until deep golden brown and charred.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
