Ingredients
- 1 batch sweet roll dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup blueberry pie filling (or homemade compote)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Roll your sweet roll dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the rolled-out dough and top with blueberry filling. Roll tightly and cut into 12 even rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish; cover with a towel and let rise until puffy (about 30 minutes).
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk to create icing; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
