Ingredients
- 3 pounds split chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 3 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter (or vegan butter)
- ¼ cup hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat chicken wings dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix baking powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne. Toss wings in this mixture until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings on the wire rack in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes. Flip wings and bake for another 20 minutes.
- Melt butter in a saucepan; add hot sauce and stir for about 5 minutes.
- Toss baked wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve hot with parsley garnish.
