Ingredients
- 300 g pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 500 g ground beef
- 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 200 ml beef stock
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, beef stock, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Mix in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Toss cooked pasta with the meat sauce until well combined and serve hot.
