Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth; return chicken and pasta to skillet, tossing gently to coat.
