- 1 lb ground turkey sausage, browned and crumbled
- 2 cups milk (consider Fairlife for extra protein)
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Colby jack)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together pancake mix, milk, eggs, and maple syrup until smooth.
- Gently fold in the cooked turkey sausage and shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
- Fill each muffin cup about ¾ full with the batter for optimal rise.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Allow muffins to cool slightly before removing from the tin.
