  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. If using fresh mango, peel, pit, and chop it into chunks. For frozen mango, measure out 1 cup.
  2. In a blender, combine mango and about ½ cup almond milk. Blend until smooth to create a mango puree.
  3. In another bowl, whisk matcha powder with 2-3 tablespoons of water until dissolved.
  4. In a tall glass, layer the mango puree at the bottom. Add ice cubes halfway up the glass and pour in the remaining almond milk. Gently pour the whisked matcha on top for a beautiful layered look.
