- 1 ripe mango (or 1 cup frozen mango chunks)
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Ice cubes
- A pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- If using fresh mango, peel, pit, and chop it into chunks. For frozen mango, measure out 1 cup.
- In a blender, combine mango and about ½ cup almond milk. Blend until smooth to create a mango puree.
- In another bowl, whisk matcha powder with 2-3 tablespoons of water until dissolved.
- In a tall glass, layer the mango puree at the bottom. Add ice cubes halfway up the glass and pour in the remaining almond milk. Gently pour the whisked matcha on top for a beautiful layered look.
- Optional: Drizzle honey or maple syrup and add a pinch of sea salt for enhanced flavor. Stir before enjoying!
