- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/chicken)
- 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup julienned carrots
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame oil. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or preferably overnight).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook marinated beef until browned and cooked through (about 7-10 minutes).
- Steam broccoli florets and sauté carrots until tender.
- To assemble, place cooked rice in bowls, top with cooked beef, broccoli, and carrots.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
