Instructions
- Cream softened butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Mix in dried lavender, lemon zest, fresh lemon juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually blend into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are slightly golden but centers remain soft.
- While cooling on a wire rack, prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar with fresh lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies and garnish with extra lemon zest.
