Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup pistachio butter
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and yeast.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Combine with dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread pistachio butter over the surface, followed by cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
