Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (minced)
- 2–3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into chunks)
- 4 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and cook until golden for about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in minced ginger and garlic; cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add chicken pieces, tomato paste, garam masala, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for another 8-10 minutes until thickened. Serve hot over rice or with naan.
