  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground turkey with chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until just mixed.
  2. Form into four patties with slight indentations in the center and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat; cook patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice, chopped cilantro, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the southwest sauce.
