- 1 cup uncooked long grain white rice
- 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
- 10.5 ounces cream of celery soup
- 1.5 cups chicken broth
- 1 to 1.5 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts (cut into large chunks)
- 5 tablespoons salted butter (thinly sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine uncooked rice, both soups, chicken broth, and Montreal steak seasoning. Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Place chunks of chicken on top of the rice mixture without stirring.
- Arrange slices of butter over the chicken and rice; cover tightly with foil.
- Bake for about 55 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and rice is tender.
- Optionally broil for a few minutes for extra crispiness.
