Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients required to prepare)
- 3 oz strawberry vegan gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 18–20 Golden Oreos, crushed
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
- Prepare white cake mix according to package instructions and bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- In a small pitcher, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water; add cold water and pour over cooled cake holes. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth; in another bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Fold in cream cheese mixture.
- Frost chilled cake evenly with frosting.
- Combine crushed cookies with melted butter and dry gelatin; sprinkle over frosted cake, pressing down slightly.
