Ingredients
- 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough (or homemade dough)
- 3 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp almond extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and lightly grease a springform pan.
- Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, followed by sour cream, vanilla, and almond extract; mix until combined.
- Pour filling over cooled crust and smooth the top. Bake for 55–65 minutes, ensuring the center is slightly jiggly.
- Cool at room temperature before chilling in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight.
- Before serving, add whipped cream, festive sprinkles, and crushed sugar cookies on top.
