Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla until combined. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients.
  4. Evenly distribute the batter into cupcake liners. Drizzle melted chocolate on top and swirl using a toothpick.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling completely before filling.
  6. For the filling, heat heavy cream until simmering and pour over chopped chocolate; stir until smooth.
