  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup yum yum sauce (or your preferred sauce)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sesame slaw by combining shredded cabbage, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, teriyaki sauce, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and salt until well combined. Form into four patties.
  3. Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes on one side until golden brown; flip and cook until they reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
  4. Toast brioche buns in the same skillet until lightly golden.
  5. Assemble burgers by spreading yum yum sauce on buns and topping with cooked patties and sesame slaw.
