- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 brioche buns
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil for frying
- 1/4 cup yum yum sauce (or your preferred sauce)
Instructions
- Prepare the sesame slaw by combining shredded cabbage, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, teriyaki sauce, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and salt until well combined. Form into four patties.
- Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes on one side until golden brown; flip and cook until they reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
- Toast brioche buns in the same skillet until lightly golden.
- Assemble burgers by spreading yum yum sauce on buns and topping with cooked patties and sesame slaw.
